NY-based trio Gathering Time are an Internationally touring folk-rock harmony Americana trio in the spirit of the '60s and beyond, playing originals, classic 20th-century and traditional folk, all with great 3-part vocals. Stuart Markus, Christine Sweeney and Gerry McKeveny evince deep roots in '60s folk-rock, with a healthy dash of traditional folk in the mix. Their stage chemistry makes clear that they take the music (if not themselves) very seriously, yet their infectious energy wins over even fans who never considered themselves folkies. Expect a very feel-good afternoon with maybe a touch of nostalgia for some but brought up to date with the acoustic-electric alchemy created by the three members of Gathering Time.
